Now here's an interesting linguistic(-ish) point. The formula at the bottom right is one of the ways to state Bernoulli's principle. But, according to Wikipedia the more common English way to put it is:
(υ^2)/2+gz+p/ρ=constant, (https://goo.gl/U4ttyE)
which is basically the same, but they use z instead of h for the elevation of the point above a reference plane. Spaniards also use z instead of h, but their formula looks more like the one in the picture:
((V^2)ρ)/2+P+ρgz=constante, (https://goo.gl/vyxZO3)
While the Russians use h for elevation, and do not devide everything in sight by ρ (as well as Spaniards, really):
((υ^2)ρ)/2+p+ρgh=const (https://goo.gl/cx1uoT)
So I do wonder who made this picture in the forst place? =)
Awesome, Igor!
