Gostoso
I like this word in Portuguese - GOSTOSO (go-STO-su). It means «lovely, tasty, fuckable, beautiful and/or sensual». Use it to describe everything and everyone. For a woman or a feminine noun, use gostosa (go-STO-sah). We’ve discussed the word in more depth here.
Sure, there’s medically sanctioned advice for avoiding hangovers (it’s boring and obvious; drink less). Wouldn’t you rather go on folk wisdom, especially if it rhymes?
Recall that in English we have:
Beer before liquor,
never been sicker;
liquor before beer,
you’re in the clear.
The corresponding, very common French maxim of course presumes that we’re drinking wine.
«Blanc sur rouge,
rien ne bouge.
Rouge sur blanc,
tout fout le camp.»
White after red,
you’re in luck.
Red after white,
everything’s fucked.
Do you know something like that in other languages?
Всем принцессам и принцам посвящается!
Prince charning, a имено "прекрасный принц", по- испански звучит как principe azul. Azul на кастийском- это голубой цвет. По аналогии с голубой кровью. То есть принц голубый кровей.
Но на русский лучше не переводить дословно=)))
