Мне кажется, что первоначальное значение get high это кайфовать от наркотиков, нежели острых ощущений. Я не слышал, чтобы люди после езды на мотоцикле говорили I got high.
If this is related to something exciting like riding on a motorcycle, then "buzz" and "high" wouldn't come into play. Although a person who derives extreme excitement from the experience could potentially say he "gets a (certain) high" from riding his motorcycle. "to have fun" is a little too general, IMHO. And "to get one's thrills" reminds me of an old man behind a tree watching girls sunbathe... I would've said "to get a thrill."
Thank you

Uly, actually I remembered "thrills" from that request:
What's "to chase thrills"? Would it be correct to use it here?
Actually, this post isn't about chasing or seeking thrills, it's about how you feel when you find them 😆
ok 👍
