Grumbler, she wasn't just young- she was specifically 8 years old, and she was AT the party, not ON the party, and she sluchayno threw the cake AT her face, not TO her face.

Я заметил - просто переводил, не глядя на оригинал.
Нe стал исправлять, т.к. могло выглядеть, что я делаю это, чтобы выскочить в верхнюю позицию. Теперь можно.

Grumbler, there's a certain comedic effect in situations such as this one, where somebody did something intentionally, but is purposely relating it as if everything were an accident in a tongue-in-cheek manner: A: what did you do at the party last night?Everybody's talking about you! B: (smiling) oh well I might have "accidentally" spilled a drink on my ex-husband's new wife, then "accidentally" pulled her hair when she called me a bitch, then "accidentally" torn her dress as I walked out... all an accident, of course 😜" Hence the repetition of случайно.
