Margarita, what in the world is "water bewitched?"
Маргарита Т.added a comment 7 years ago
"Water bewitched" means in Russian "пустословие". We often say "вода" instead of "пустословие" when someone speaks a lot but nobody understands what it is about. Am I wrong?

That may be the meaning in Russian, but we definitely don't say "water bewitched" in English.

Margarita, that phrase is in the dictionary, but it’s archaic. I’d never seen or heard it before now.
