Don't agree with you here, Uly. The"merchandizing" implies some process, and the "merchandaze" is either an action or a thing.

In the US the noun is merchandise [дайс], and the verb is merchandize [дайз].
I understand the verbal concept is known as мерчандайзинг in Russian:
Oh, sorry, I've thought the one with "s" is British and that with "z" is American both for a noun and verb. Nevertheless, merchandise=товар, merchandize=торговать and merchandizING (see your link)=мерчандайзИНГ.
