    Успех понятие субъективное. Кто то может считать верхушкой своего творения и стараний создание мусорного бака во дворе, например, и он будет считать себя успешным, а вот люди вокруг него будут считать его успешным/не успешным в зависимости от их понятия успеха.

    Для кого то и деньги являются мерил

someone is a third person, singular. Need to use 'he/she has' then.
