"Everything is good" suggests that there was a problem and it has been taken care of. Everything is alright is just a general commentary on things.

Recently, we've been using GOOD to mean that things have worked themselves out or improved from a previous situation: Are we good? (= are you still angry, or are we friends again?); I'm good (= no thanks, I don't need another drink), It's all good (= no harm done, everything is ok).
