It depends on the context. BETTER refers to a feeling of wellbeing that comes from your body/illness healing. MORE NORMAL would apply to a woman who is undergoing chemotherapy and gets a wig in order to feel more normal in public when her hair falls out. Otherwise, more normal can refer to feeling more like you normally feel when you’re not sick.
