I remember you commenting on one of my translations where I used it with something along the lines of "tudy up is something that gives British English away". If I'm not mistaken. 🤔

Yes, it definitely sounds more British, but people here do use it. However, we tend to use it more for things like desks and offices that have loose things and books lying around that need to be organized. British people use it more in the sense of “cleaning“ a room or the house.
