Uly, how about "there's a dollhouse next to my bed"?
рядом с кроватью находится мой кукольный дом
Uly, how about "there's a dollhouse next to my bed"?
That would work if it came as a total surprise to you.
...or if it was new information for someone esle: [on the phone] There’s a dollhouse next to my bed. If you look in the chimney, you’ll find the key to my safe. Please take out my passport and leave it in the mailbox for me.”
Russian textbooks teach students to describe places using "there is/are". They're supposed to write/talk about their rooms homes, for example: There's a bed and a desk in it. There's a doll house next to the desk... 🤔
