EditedЕсли вы хотите заняться экстенсивным чтением, вам нужно будет взять в библиотеке несколько адаптированных для чтения книг.

Если вы хотите читать больше и длиннее, чем тексты в учеснике... (?)
EXTENSIVE in this context means longer/more substantial than the 'texts' that have already been provided by the teacher/in the textbook/in the reading exercises...
I went with начитанный which is close to what you explained.
But doesn’t начитанный mean “well read”?
Well read - you're right. But reading substantial stuff makes you well-read, doesn't it?
But here, the goal is to find more resources/get more practice if the reading material provided in one source isn’t enough or if you just want extra exposure to reading material. That’s why they recommend GRADED readers, because you’re not up to reading actual literature yet - which would, in effect, make you well read 😉
Wooordhunt dictionary just confirmed my guess about начитанный. Elena's guess may be better though I've never seen экстенсивное чтение bеfore.
So given that Elena is right.
