Ой, вот тут я меньше уверена. Дело в том, что Present Perfect, знакомый нам из школьных правил, в жизни работает не совсем так. Надо бы спросить нашего модератора, американца.

Nick, that's perfect 👍🏼 The use of the perfect in the first sentence sets a tone of urgency, so that it doesn't have to be repeated in the second sentence. This is exactly what a native would say. Good work)))

Tatiana, you're instincts are correct - no need for the perfect in the second sentence (although it wouldn't be considered incorrect.)
