Olga, this wouldn’t refer to homosexuals. A BRO is your heterosexual/platonic best friend - in this case, someone you have a BROMANCE with... a very close friendship, the guy you spend more time with than with your girlfriend, etc. When that BROMANCE ends, you have a BROVORCE.
