Uly, я не понимаю твой перевод. Ты в своем примере перефразировал Mathew 4:11- Then the devil left Him, and behold, angels came and ministered to Him.
В русском Евангелии - Тогда оставляет Его диавол, и се, Ангелы приступили и служили Ему.
При чем тут "рассказывай ему об Иисусе"?

In modern English (at least in the US) to minister to someone is to bring them the message of salvation through Jesus Christ. There are people who go door to door ministering to people, or to hospitals to minister to the dying.

Oh, got it. Lingvo also gives a religion-related meaning: совершать богослужение.
